Whale Watching from El Encanto, Literally
El Encanto is not only blessed as being known as a beachfront lifestyle
community but that same beachfront lends itself fabulously to the annual
spectacle of whale sightings. From the comfort of homes or luxury condominiums
in the new residence building, homeowners, their friends and families as well
as rental guests alike all are experiencing whales breaching or whale pods
swimming by casually.
On what seems like a daily basis, there are excited shouts like “Look at
that!” or “Ooohs and Ahhhs” that can be heard around the property throughout
the day as the fortunate few residing at El Encanto enjoy a great meal on the
patios or terraces while watching the whales.
In fact, the whales are so close that there hasn’t been much need for
binoculars, which no other property can boast, given the proximity of the
beachfront.
Each year in early autumn, one of nature’s most delightful signs of
seasonal change occurs – the migration of hundreds of whales from the frigid
waters of the arctic to the warm, calm waters surrounding the Baja Peninsula.
And, from December – early April, there is no better place to view such a
spectacular event than the beaches of Los Cabos.
The whales make their way south at an average speed of four miles per
hour and complete the 12,000-mile migration by late December, staying until
late March when they repeat their journey. Ideal climate, shallow waters,
salinity and abundant marine life make the bays and lagoons north of Los Cabos
the perfect place for whales to birth and rear their young.
Of the 11 species
of whales found worldwide, eight venture to the waters off Los Cabos, including
minke, bryde, fin, sei, humpback, gray and blue. Of all migrating whales, 90
percent travel to Los Cabos. This six-month, round-trip sojourn is the longest
trip made by any animal in the world.
There are several ways to observe these magnificent cetaceans in their
natural habitat. Now, El Encanto has developed a number of preferred partnerships
with the most established whale-watching operator in Los Cabos. This
opportunity allowshomeowners or rental guests to get up-close-and-personal with
the whales.
There is no better way to enjoy your beachfront home away from home than
to sit on the patio in the morning, sip coffee or juice, enjoy a hot breakfast
and gaze out at the whale spectacle just a few hundred feet away.
This happens all of the time but only at El
Encanto…

The new condo Phase II in El Encanto de La Laguna has been received very well by those that have toured with us and been able to walk the Luxury Residences. Now that the construction has been completed consistent with North American building standards, home owners and perspective investors have truly taken notice and appreciate the quality. Almost everyone touring the luxury residence condominiums is literally in awe by the spacious layout, stunning ocean views, and attention to detail. It is quite exciting for us to hear feedback thus far such as, “These condos feel more like a home than a condo!”
With only a few weeks into the high season, we have already received a number of offers with one purchase completed. With only 4 condos remaining in the Phase II "Las Olas" Luxury Residences building and given the interest level we are seeing, we are quite confident that all will completely sell out before the end of May or June 2013.
For anyone looking for a spectacular condominium which feels much more like a home with ample square footage in Los Cabos, these are a must see!
There is really nothing else like it in all of Los Cabos.

Synergy Mexico Press Release
El Encanto
completes construction on Phase II
November 29, 2012
EL
ENCANTO DE LA LAGUNA IS A HOT PROPERTY COMPLETES CONSTRUCTION ON PHASE II
Los Cabos, Mexico (November 29th, 2012) – As the economy may have slowed some master planned
real estate developments to a construction crawl or total stoppage, one
boutique community has consistently remained committed to forward progress. El
Encanto de la Laguna, located just a few minutes outside of downtown San Jose
del Cabo is continuing to move forward over the past year and more. The
strategy has already proven to be a significant one by providing potential
buyers with both the confidence and a commitment by the developers. These
aggressive construction efforts are already paying off with a number of new
real estate sales. Additional major movements are already underway for El
Encanto de la Laguna such as a clubhouse, new art gallery and the hiring of a
marketing agency.
In fact, within only the last six weeks, El Encanto de la
Laguna has had a number of real estate sales. This includes one new buyer in
the Phase II luxury residences building offering spectacular ocean views as
well as a spectacular beachfront home. Since February of 2012, the community
has had a number of new buyer home and villa purchases with delivery of 3 new
units in the luxury residence building as of November.
“Currently, we are finishing the ‘Las Olas’ building in the
Phase II luxury residences. This building is a total of 9 luxury residences
consisting of both 2 and 3 bedroom units. The Phase II boast spectacular views
from all three levels, all residences are very spacious and well
appointed. The low density is a plus with only 24 units around an
impeccable infinity pool and lounge area. The ‘Las Olas’ building will be
completely delivered by the end of November thus taking us to even more
construction of our clubhouse and fitness center.” says Aaron Wesselink, General Manager.
But that’s not all for the big movements being made by El
Encanto de la Laguna. In mid-November, the developers and management were
paid a special visit by the Secretary of Tourism for the state of Baja
California Sur, Sr. Ruben Reachi. His inspection revolved around proposed
improvements made by the developers to the infrastructure just past the marina
in San Jose del Cabo. Specifically, assurances have been made that the
funds for the new road will be appropriated with implementation promptly as
demand has increased for the East Cape area, in general. In addition, El
Encanto de la Laguna signage will now be seen from the highways, around the
Mega shopping center, throughout Los Cabos and eventually La Paz.
A few newsworthy surprises have also taken shape by El
Encanto de la Laguna. First of which, the opening of an eclectic art gallery
bringing back some of the originators of the Art Walk artists in the downtown
San Jose del Cabo historic zone. Internationally acclaimed painters,
sculptors and the like including Mike Svob, Alan Wylie, Richard S. McDiarmid,
Brent Heighton, Jonn Einerssen and Denyse Klette will all have featured work
showcased in new Old Town Gallery by El Encanto de la Laguna.
One of the reasons for this remarkable venture is the
developers’ passionate support of the San Jose del Cabo community and the fact
that one of the lead artist, Brent Heighton, calls El Encanto de La Laguna home
and has forged a great relationship with the community. At the same time, the
gallery will offer just one more opportunity for tourists to experience fine
art as the “Art Walk” attraction has soared in popularity especially over the
last five to seven years in San Jose del Cabo.
And finally, El Encanto de la Laguna has contracted Synergy
Mexico, a marketing and PR agency based in Los Cabos, Mexico. This is the
first time that an integrated marketing program will be developed for El
Encanto de la Laguna in its six-plus year history.
It’s all about timing according to Aaron Wesselink, “The
reason we are hiring a marketing company at this point in time is due to the
fact that we feel the timing is right with the market in general. We have seen
a large increase in inquiries and have had two accepted offers in only the past
month, however, we feel we can do even better if we partner with the right
marketing company. The development is debt-free and always has been. That
positive combined with the fact that the market is in the process of turning
the corner in Los Cabos means there is only upside for a development like ours.
We are excited about doing bigger things and completing our development over
the next few years. ”
El Encanto de la Laguna is a beachfront community consisting
of 36 single-family home sites ranging from 3,000 to over 5,000 square feet and
65 luxury residences boasting a long list of amenities that cater to the
discerning homeowner. Just some of the services include: concierges,
24-hour security, a gated community, and on-site property management and home
rental professionals. In 2013, construction begins on the new beach club with a
fitness center, an owners’ lounge and game room, large infinity edge pool and
Jacuzzi, toy garage, pitch and putting green, tennis court and a business
conference center.
